EL LEÓN LITERARY ARTS
Incorporated in 2001 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation, recipient of generous grants from the Overbrook Foundation and New York Community Trust, El León Literary Arts was established to promote the arts and education by presenting works of fiction, poetry, drama, and graphics unlikely to be published in the commercial marketplace. A private foundation as of 2007, El León continues to seek to keep alive a rich diversity of written voices.
El León's Publisher is author Thomas Farber, who is also Senior Lecturer in English at the University of California, Berkeley.
